Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
This week we had an assignment to read a book that was at least 100 pages long. The book I chose was Charlie and The Chocolate Factory , which was 189 pages long. The story is about a little boy, named Charlie. Charlie’s family was very poor, his Dad works at a toothpaste factory where he screws caps on toothpaste tubes all day long. You don’t get paid much working at a toothpaste factory. Everyday when Charlie goes to school he walks by a chocolate factory. This factory sells the best chocolate in the world and it is owned by Mr. Wonka . One day there was an exciting article in the news paper. It said that Mr. Wonka is going to give a special tour of his chocolate factory to the holders of the 5 Golden Tickets. Each of these tickets were hidden in five separate chocolate bars that could be purchased all around the world.
